Devi sapere che per diventare web designer in Italia non esistono ancora corsi di laurea specifici, tuttavia si possono acquisire competenze sia con corsi di laurea trasversali come il Dams, Scienze della comunicazione o informatica che poi andranno integrati con conoscenze di software e strumenti che serviranno per lavorare come web designer. Altra strada è quella di seguire corsi professionalizzanti per avvicinarsi alla professione che però andranno incrementati con una parte teorica; insomma il percorso inverso.
Ciò che è certo è che le competenze del web designer sono multidisciplinari e un solo corso, anche se ben fatto non sarà sufficiente per essere un vero professionista.
